CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

THERAPY OR COACHING SESSIONS

Please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a therapy session to prevent incurring a fee. Someone else can then be allocated the time.

WORKSHOPS & CLASSES

We do not give refunds but you are welcome to make up the class at another time in the term.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN & NDIS

Melissa McLeod holds a current working with children's check.

Melissa is able to offer services to clients that have self managed plans with the (NDIS) The National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Melissa is registered with the peak body associations listed below.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS

We may take photos or short videos during the class of students and their artworks. These photos are used by Art of Calm & Co for promotional purposes only, such as social media posts, reels, flyers and our website. When a child is enrolled a parent’s consent is implied. Please send an email if you would not like yourself or child or their work to be videoed or photographed.

Terms and Conditions for Art of Calm and Co. Sip and Paint Classes

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in Sip and Paint classes ("Classes") offered by Art of Calm and Co. By booking or attending a Class, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Classes are open to individuals aged 18 and over. Participants must bring a valid ID if consuming alcohol.

2. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made in advance through our website or in-person at Art of Calm and Co.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the class.
We accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards and online payment platforms.
Prices are subject to change, but the rate at the time of booking will be honoured.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled class for a full refund.
We do not give refunds but you are welcome to make up the class at another time in the term. However, you may transfer your booking to another person by notifying us in advance.
Art of Calm and Co. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to attend a future class.

4. Alcohol Consumption

Participants are allowed to bring their own alcoholic beverages ("BYOB") to the class. Art of Calm and Co. does not sell or provide alcohol. Our events are for over 18 guests. Whilst a liquor licence is not required to operate a BYO venue (Liquor Act 2007), Art of Calm and Co. take precautions to operate responsibly.
Consumption of alcohol is at your own risk. Art of Calm and Co. is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from alcohol consumption.
Participants are expected to drink responsibly and in moderation. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any participant from the class if they are deemed to be intoxicated or disruptive.

5. Conduct and Safety

Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards the instructor and other participants.
Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the class without a refund.
Art of Calm and Co. is committed to providing a safe environment. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the instructor.

6. Materials and Equipment

All art materials and equipment will be provided by Art of Calm and Co. during the class. Participants are responsible for the care and use of these materials.
Participants are welcome to take home their artwork created during the class.

7. Liability

Art of Calm and Co. is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the class.
By participating in the class, you agree to release Art of Calm and Co., its employees, and contractors from any and all claims arising from your participation.

8. Photography and Media

Art of Calm and Co. may take photographs or videos during the class for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image in our marketing materials.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the instructor at the beginning of the class.

9. Privacy

Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purposes of managing your booking and will not be shared with third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which Art of Calm and Co. operates.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation in the class will be resolved through mediation or in the courts of that state.

By booking a Sip and Paint class with Art of Calm and Co., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
